If your website has too many graphics and video you might even be rejecting new visitors. It’s like having a nightclub selector standing in the entrance to a supermarket, hello! You want those people to get in what are you doing?
That’s the one thing Google has gotten from the beginning and the rest of the world just doesn’t understand. And the bottom line is still the same, to sell more products you need to get more people in the door. And we didn’t event start talking about getting visitors to your site.
Getting the customers to your site.
To get more customer to your site you need to know what they are looking for, this is very tricky. Because most seo think we’re talking about keyword research. Well, not exactly. The first thing you have to understand is that you customers want information. You have to understand what kind of information they are looking for. Are they looking for a good price? Or good service.
Only after you can answer tat question you can start you campaign. After all finding a keyword that visitors type in in Google is fine, but think of finding a keyword that visitors need the answer to. In addition to that your going to be the one with all the answers.
So, how do you know what your visitors want?
You need to know where they are. What forums they visit and what blogs, social groups and so on. Join them and start reading. Find out what they complain about and how your product or service can help them. But don’t jump on them all at once, you have the chance to make them feel their pain. Let them know how much you understand them, only when they start trust and like you they will really listen to you.
