Knowledge is only potential power, don’t keep it to yourself

We are always worried that someone might come along and take our ideas. But we don’t take the time to think, so what if they do. I know there are situations that it might hurt you. Like if someone takes your idea and comes out with a new comic book hero. But in 99% of situations that’s not the case. Read the rest of this entry »

You best work ever! Set a reminder to get the good stuff

You always get your best ideas when there’s no pen around, annoying isn’t it? You get them when you waiting for your bus, when you in the shower or walking your dog. But then when your sitting at your computer you got nothing. I found a great way to solve it, OK I’m not reinventing the wheel but it works. Most if not all of us have reminders on our phones. I don’t know what I would do without SIRI. I just add a reminder for all my ideas, and check my reminders when I have time to sit down and write.

If you follow me around you would hear me saying, “SIRI, remind me to write an article about…”. This works so well that I can get up to 5 or more new ideas a day. That’s way more them i need to keep up with my blog. I hope this tip helps you get the most out of your projects.

Attack! It’s never going to be perfect anyway

I heard a story once of Napoleon Bonaparte. One of his soldiers came to him before an attack telling him that the circumstances are not right. Napoleon’s response was, attack! I make the circumstances. This should be an example to us all.

We tend to have a lot of expectations from our self’s. And even tough it’s good to aim high sometimes aiming too high causes us to drop the ball. Sometimes it’s better to start working with what you have and what you can do and keep improving.

Just start now. The world belong to those who do, not those who plan.

Writing for both readers

have you ever heard of killing two birds with one stone? That’s what you have to do every time you write an article. What ever you write will be read by two readers, or two groups of readers. Humans and computers (or search engines). Read the rest of this entry »
